Quality
Our quality assurance procedures encompass an array of services, including preplanning, coordination of engineering, materials procurement activities, scheduling, safety, labor supervision, ANSI and ASME standards and other field procedures, supervision of startup, troubleshooting, value analysis, dispute resolution among contractors, and training/certification. Our quality assurance program helps certify that work is done correctly the first time to eliminate the expenses associated with re-work and punch list items.
Midwest Mechanical Contractors holds PP, R, and A welding stamps and routinely performs work under ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes. In addition to our own quality assurance / quality control standards, Midwest has embraced quality and healthy building standards from the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) and the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

ASHE Certified Healthcare Construction Professionals
Midwest
Mechanical Contractors currently has 8 key construction professionals
that hold the American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) Healthcare
Construction Certificate. The program trains construction professionals
in the language of healthcare and the latest trends in design and
compliance issues facing providers. It also greatly improves the
construction professional’s ability to effectively communicate with
healthcare professionals during the negotiation and bidding process in
language that demonstrates understanding of major issues including:
U.S. Green Building Council LEED
The
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building
Rating System® is a voluntary, consensus-based national
standard for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. Members
of the U.S. Green Building Council representing all segments of the
building industry developed LEED and continue to contribute to its
evolution. Certification enables
Midwest Mechanical to join the growing consortium of companies that are
engaged in constructing buildings that are environmentally responsible,
healthy places to work, and officially register these buildings as LEED
Certified.
LEED provides a complete framework for assessing building performance and meeting sustainability goals. Based on well-founded scientific standards, LEED emphasizes state of the art strategies for sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. LEED recognizes achievements and promotes expertise in green building through a comprehensive system offering project certification, professional accreditation, training and practical resources.
