Mike Kotubey, LEED AP
President
Mike is responsible for the overall leadership and profitability for the company’s Construction and Service companies, developing short and long range business plans, marketing goals, operations support and programs to support employee safety, productivity and well-being.
Mike joined Midwest Mechanical in April 2004, bringing with him over 30 years experience in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning industry. Most recently, Mike was responsible for the operations of the largest division of one of the nation’s top ten specialty contractors.
He has held positions in Sales, Engineering, Project Management, Operations Management and General Management. Mike began his undergraduate studies at Drexel University in their Mechanical Engineering Program. He received a Bachelors of Science in Management from Franklin Pierce College, in Rindge, NH and continued his Graduate work at New Hampshire College. Mike completed his LEED AP certification program in January 2008.
Throughout his career, Mike has been an active member in numerous industry professional associations. He has served as President of the Michigan MCAA and has served on National Committees for both MCAA and SMACNA. He has also chaired local committees for the AGC. Mike has been responsible for field and manufacturing operations that included Plumbing, Pipefitting and Sheet Metal Union craft employees.
