Right People...
Since 1932, Midwest Mechanical Contractors has grown to become a nationally recognized leader in specialty construction and the foundation of that success has always been attributed to our ability to find and develop the right people. Life At Midwest
At Midwest Mechanical Contractors we are dedicated to excellence and the four core values this company was founded on over 75 years ago. And while we do work hard we also understand the importance of developing and supporting a healthy, sustainable, and happy work culture.
INGRAMS magazine recently named us one of Kansas City’s Best Medium Sized Companies to work for in 2009 thanks in part to our culture and dedication to promoting healthy living through our wellness program. Through our wellness program we offer our employees free health screenings, health coaching with a personal trainer, on-site fitness center, and team and individual based training programs.
If sweating isn't your thing we also organize “Family Fun Nights” and company outings. We also have a “gathering room” which features fresh fruit, company subsidized beverages, and televisions. This provides a place for people to come together with great ideas and really helps fosters a sense of community.
Developing this type of work culture is important. Midwest Mechanical was founded as a family-owned company and being an employee-owned organization committed to this culture allows us to maintain that “small company feel.”
