In addition to our Annual Toy's for Tot's drive, which was one of our most successful drives to date, Midwest Mechanical Service also sponsored a two-week drive to collect new and gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and blankets for the Kansas City, MO Salvation Army.
Our corporate neighbor, Joe Runyon, President of Hangers Cleaners generously donated the laundering and environment-friendly dry cleaning of nearly 40 coats plus numerous hats, scarves, gloves and blankets. Nearly 500 new and gently used items were donated by Midwest employees throughout Kansas City and presented to Salvation Army representatives Major Jim McDowell, Raymond Bell and Owen Ware on December 21st.
The wife of one long-time Midwest employee loves to knit and she donated 15 hand-knitted hats and scarves, because she “just wanted to make someone’s Christmas a little warmer." We thank her and everyone else that contributed to the Toy's for Tot's drive and Project Warmth.

Midwest Mechanical Service recently partnered with MultiStack, MagLev™ to become a Retrofit Contractor. This means that Midwest is now a part of a very small group of contractors in the region that can offer Danfoss/Turbocor compressor retrofits, service and installation.
Needless to say the Midwest Mechanical Service Team is excited about the opportunity to partner with MagLev™! We feel strongly that it represents another way to distinguish our company in a market full of capable contractors and continue on our path of providing sensible solutions as a GREENSTAR contractor.
