Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway
Midwest has been selected by Turner Construction to provide preconstruction services with the expectation of moving seamlessly into the construction phase of the new 280,000 sf Penn National Gaming facility called Hollywood Casino. The new destination casino is to be constructed at the 2nd turn of the Kansas Speedway with a targeted opening date of Dec. 2011. A 440+ room hotel is scheduled to be constructed within a couple of years at the same site.
During preconstruction Midwest will provide multiple budgets, Life Cycle costing including Acoustical evaluation, Maintenance and Operations Analysis, Indoor Air Quality, Vibration Analysis, System Replacement Cost Analysis, Flexibility Studies, Energy Costs and System Comparisons for the new Casino project. Midwest Mechanical is currently constructing a slots-only casino for Penn National Gaming in Perryville, MD.
