Casino and Resort Hotel
Midwest Mechanical Contractors was selected by Manhattan Construction for this fast-track casino and resort hotel project in June of 2007 based on our previous experience with fast track casino resort properties. We provided construction services for the 352,198 sf casino and hotel which were constructed on over 200 acres at the three-state intersection of Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. There are plans for later expansion of this casino resort across the state line, pending state approval in Kansas.
The Casino is a 2-story facility and the adjoining hotel is 12-stories with 235 guest rooms and suites. Midwest fabricated a Condenser Water pump-skid weighing nearly 32,000 pounds in our Kansas City, Missouri Fab Shop and trucked to Miami, OK. The 3 pumps each are approximately 1,780 hp. Additionally, a smaller Heating Hot Water pump skid was fabricated in our shop and loaded for shipment to the job site. The Casino and Hotel each opened on their target dates.
