Corporate Headquarters

A 19-story, 1.1 million square foot corporate headquarters office facility for the railroad to house 4,100 employees, consisting of offices, a 600-seat employee cafeteria, a fitness facility, conference and learning center, 60,000-sq. ft. data processing center, broadcasting facilities and retail space. The lobby features a 37’ wide by 17’ high video screen.

Midwest performed complete mechanical and plumbing system installations including the state-of-the-art HVAC system which uses 4 AHU’s for each floor (total 88 installed). They supply air through a pressurized access area underneath a raised floor on each of the 19 stories of the building. Installation of 18 Liebert units in the data processing center; installation of four 850-ton chillers, four cooling towers; 3 heat exchangers, 5 chilled water pumps, 5 condenser water pumps and 3 air purification systems.
