Midwest Mechanical fabricated the pluming and piping for this project in our Kansas City, MO fabrication shop. The 300+ bed expansion project was designed in such a manner that restroom facilities for each cell could be fabricated in units that were complete with the exception of the actual fixtures that are in the inmate cells.
The toilet batteries were manufactured in units of 2 or more by our plumbers in our fabrication facility. By manufacturing the repetitious toilet units in groups of two or more, Midwest was able to have numerous toilet batteries ready to install. In some cases, the toilets were installed prior to walls being completed.
