Medical Gas Piping
Midwest Mechanical plumbers fabricated literally miles of plumbing and medical gas piping for the 600,000 sf hospital project in Little Rock, Arkansas. The layout of the 10-story hospital allowed for a combination rack of piping that included medical gas and plumbing to be installed as a single unit.
A series of medical gas and plumbing fabrication sit on racks in our fab shop, sealed, labeled and ready to be crated for shipment. Each series of pipe is labeled with its floor and its location by our production teams in our fab shop and placed is crates that are additionally labeled so that once on the job site, the installation teams know exactly which crate to place on each floor and in each section of the project. Documentation from our fab shop shows the field installation crews which pipe rack to install in the proper order.
