New Regional Hospital

United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, West Virginia is a 681,440 sf, eight-level structure that Midwest provided preconstruction and construction services for the HVAC systems only.

The new hospital will provide 289 private inpatient rooms and 24 observation rooms. Services in the new regional hospital will include acute beds in critical care, telemetry, medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics; Sub-acute beds in transitional care and behavioral health; Inpatient and Outpatient diagnostic and treatment services including nationally accredited comprehensive community cancer center, emergency department, invasive cardiology.

The hospital environment is designed with the patient, family, staff and community in mind, including enhanced patient privacy; a high level of technology integration and improved access. It is scheduled to open in December 2009.
