Replacement Hospital
Groundbreaking was held in June 2007 on this new 3-story, 489,606 square foot hospital for which Midwest is providing complete preconstruction and construction services. The project includes a Central Energy Plant as well as complete acute care hospital facilities. The project has a completion schedule of 30 months with patient occupancy anticipated in December 2009.
The replacement hospital will be home to 150 inpatient beds, 8 state-of-the-art operating room suites, 27 emergency department bays, private patient rooms, a Women’s Center, 14 neonatal intensive care suites, an interior courtyard, chapel and will feature room service dining. The campus where this hospital is being constructed will also be the home of 3 new Medical Office Buildings that are currently in the design stages.
Midwest is honored to be working with the world-class healthcare engineering firm of BSA LifeSciences on this project. It is the first hospital Midwest will construct for this Owner, General Contractor and Engineer.
